Bio:
Al has extensive breadth of experience as an Executive in the technology
industry. Over the last 15 years he’s performed the role of
CIO, CTO and Vice President of Engineering in a variety of corporations.
He possesses broad engineering and software development experience
in the areas of Internet based travel systems, communication systems,
information systems and automated test systems. His early career
was dominantly in the software development and engineering disciplines.
Al has been a CIO for Hotwire (the discount Internet based travel
provider), CIO for Portal Software (a real time billing software
company), CIO for VeriFone (the premier credit card verification
provider) and CIO for Adobe Systems (the largest graphics based
software company).
Previously, Al’s engineering and development skills were
applied at Apple Computer, Schlumberger Technologies, MSI Data Corporation
and the Xerox Corporation.
Al received his undergraduate degree in Mathematics from Brooklyn
College and his graduate degree in Technical Business Management
from UCLA.
