Bio:

Stephen has extensive breadth of experience as an Executive in the technology industry. Over the last 18 years he’s performed the role of Vice President of Engineering (VPE), and CTO and in a variety of corporations. He possesses broad engineering and software development experience in the areas of Enterprise systems, distributed object systems, massively-scalable architectures, relational databases, and computer/network security. He has been responsible for developing systems in the application areas of Internet content distribution, e-commerce, micropayments, web-based security ealuation, supply chain management, semiconductor software, product configuration management, CAD/CAM/CAE and air traffic control.

Stephen has been a VPE for Emasys (semicondustor management software), VPE & CTO for Fort Hill Systems (formerly known as CacheWare - an Internet content distribution company), VPE & CTO for Advanced Software Technologies (a developer of systems for 3Com, Sun, DEC/AltaVista, IBM, Schlumberger, McDonnell Douglas and others).

Previously, Stephen’s engineering and development skills were applied at Ordain, Standard Logic, MSI Data Corporation, Rockwell, Pertec and Chevron.

Stephen received his undergraduate degrees in Physics and Geology from Chapman University and his Master's degree in Computer Science from University of California, Irvine.
